St. George & Mesquite Trip

 

We attended the Parade of Homes in St. George this last weekend over President's Day.  Johnny, my little critic, evaluated the homes and gave them scores from 1-10.  If it was a fancy home he said, it would get a score of 11.  The fancy homes are the ones with pools.

 This is the new "it" style - gray, yellow, turquoise and chevron patterns.



 

I thought this was interesting and I might try it this year, since I have a pallet.

 

 There was one house with some purple flair!

We tested out off-roading in our new Xterra at Elbow Canyon in Mesquite.

 

The kids and I had breakfast at a local diner, Bear Paw in St. George.  This place was crowded, we had to wait about 30 minutes to get in, but it was worth it!!

Update

Feb 16th 2012

 

I am so excited, we only have one last day of John being in Oklahoma.  We haven't seen him for 3 weeks.  Also, it is President's Day weekend, so we are heading down to St. George to see the Parade of Homes.

Hi, I know that I haven't posted anything in a long time. Johnny is growing up so fast. He's a little boy walking and talking. I've posted a little video of Johnny and Elizabeth playing a game on the balls in the backyard. They both are so cute.

Christmas 2008

Johnny loves to wear his new snow boots, even after he takes a bath we have to put them on.
Christmas morning, Johnny wanted to hide behind the Christmas tree before he opened any presents.

Cousin Elizabeth got new metallic purple boots from Aunt Stacy. She is only two and had trouble walking in the high heel when she first put them on, but then she soon caught on and was running all over the place.

Johnny knew how to unwrap his own gifts, I didn't even have to help.
